Dear Mark,

It’s been awhile and I remember each class fondly, esp the Spiritual Women. I did finally epublish my book. I wrote everything I had to say. These days, with limited sight and no energy (I also carry around multiple sclerosis you may remember) I’m sorry to say I don’t even read much. Timing is everything. When I had the energy and needed the feedback and stimulation from other writers you were there.

I have dear, dear memories of taking classes with Charles Deemer (back in the day of that papyrus-background website), Dennis Foley, and Sandra Novak. Still writing, still learning, but those three were of immense value for me at the very early stages in my writing life.

Hey, Mark. I was in those early classes back in 1990s. I’m still writing. Thank you very much! Your stewardship and the teachers I’ve studied with continue to enrich my life.

I signed up for WOTN classes to figure out how to teach online so I could help develop a distance learning program for a local college. So you see the influence continues to ripple outward.

Wonderful post Mark! Good to hear how it all started.

Finding writers.com changed my life first as a writer and later as an instructor. Always had awesome instructors and fellow writers.
