I find the same things but in non fiction. Travel writing, memoir, essays on what life is all about. Poetry. None good enough yet except a few to offer them up for general comment.
I write only from the heart, nothing deeply imagined, everything I’ve learned and explored. Ive written two books, travel adventure tales. And a fictionalised version of a true story. I self published, before I knew anything. I just put it on Amazon = but the important thing was for me, gaining it in hardcover print. Years ago. I knew nothing about editing!!!. But the few that did sell got interestingly good comments despite it’s writing faults. !!! I am thinking abut rewriting the true story, I know I can improve it since I wrote it some years ago with no experience. I’m looking with interest at the course at the top of this page. I hope I haven’t taken up too much time and space. Karen Steele.

Poetry I write all the time whenever something moves me; or historical memory from the past.
I’ve had quite a few travel pieces and commentary on events, , published in magazines but not recently.
But never actually followed an on line course. One sometimes I can’t afford them and two I don’t have the confidence. I do read and follow a lot of online information and advise.
I have read the comment after this that I have produced this before. But I know I haven’t, unless I accidentally sent it . Please don’t bar what I’ve said, my apologies. I’m not very practised at doing this and so probably haven’t followed the rules correctly/ Thank you. Karen Steele.
