When I couldn’t find a good book that examined literary devices and included exercises so that readers (and writers) could try them out on their own, my first thought was, “This is an opportunity for someone. A hole that needs to be filled, a gap bridged.” And I imagine so many different kinds of writers, not just poets but fiction, nonfiction, even news columnists could use these devices to spice up their copy!
