We are published and prize-winning writers, professional teachers, and longtime friends who see ourselves as experienced guides in the hard work and personal exploration writing involves. In group or individual encounters with our participants, we aim for a convivial, non-threatening, productive atmosphere.
Here's an endorsement from another happy participant:
"I began writing with Around the Block a mere two years ago. It's difficult to express how fortunate I feel to have found this creative bunch. Tracy, Liz and Sara are wonderful writers, teachers and muses. Their workshops are such great outlets for sharing writing and receiving feedback from other passionate lovers of the craft. So far I have attended three workshops in Bemus Point and look forward to attending another next summer. Last winter I participated in their workshop in Treasure Beach, Jamaica, which was beyond expectations. Even my husband, a non-writer, enjoyed our time there with the group, and we look forward to returning in the future."
